I abhor New Year resolutions because people not only tend to get unrealistic about them, but some seem to think every new year comes with a magic fairy that changes who they have been on Jan 01.
But then again, who doesn’t like magic tricks.
7 Things to get done in 2013. Will be try & post updates about them….
New Year’s Fairy: GMAT: 700+
Devil’s advocate: If you don’t procrastinate it to next year, 600+
New Year’s Fairy: Cross 7 DEBTORS OFF:
I have medical bills from freshman year of college that I swore to never pay off. Basically went to the Doctors office about a minor injury and ended up spending three days at the hospital because they “accidentally” overdosed me on Anesthesia Long story short I slipped into a comma for two days and ended up with the biggest medical bill I had ever seen (And that was after my insurance took care of their part). The legal side of it is more screwed up than just suing them, so I essentially neglected to pay for my extra time at the hospital. Looking at my credit report, I guess joke is on me. The financial bliss of an ignorant freshman.
Devil’s advocate: 2 debtors.
New Year’s Fairy: Read 7 Pulitzer 7 Noble Literature Winner Books & write at least 7 editorials.
Devil’s advocate: 1 Pulitzer 1 noble. ½ editorial.
New Year’s Fairy: Save $7,000 for nothing sake.
One advice everybody wish they knew before they were {} is to “LEARN TO SAVE MONEY”
Devil’s advocate: $100
New Year’s Fairy: CFA LEVEL I exam.
Devil’s advocate: Spare us.
New Year’s Fairy: Gain 0.7lbs pure muscle.
Devil’s advocate: *chuckle.
New Year’s Fairy: START AND FAIL AT 7 VENTURE IDEAS.
From my past entrepreneurial experience, one thing I know I need to learn is reducing the time it takes to fully implement a business idea: mastering the skills and process of starting and knowing when to kill it.
Devils advocate: 7 Failures that’s what’s up. But why not just seven big fails- this whole list.
